A.V. Rockwell is a young filmmaker from Queens most known for directing “The Gospel”, commissioned by singer and songwriter Alicia Keys. Her dedication and discipline in making poignant films has continued to announce her arrival as someone to take notice of. As a student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts she has carved out a future for herself as a screenwriter, producer and director.

She was the winner of the 2016 annual program “Through Her Lens” created by Tribeca Film Institute and CHANEL.
